Daniel Cohen leads the North American operations of Buongiorno, recently acquired by NTT Docomo. Buongiorno develops and manages paid apps and services that help consumers get greater enjoyment from their mobile devices, and is leading the charge towards the development and implementation of HTML5 apps and services across the world.
Daniel joined Dada Entertainment (a joint venture between Dada of Italy and Sony Music, which was acquired by Buongiorno in 2011) in 2007 and has held a series of key commercial roles within the business, particularly focused on Business Development, Content Acquisiton and International expansion. Prior to that, Daniel held a number of key roles at Paris-based mobile music pioneer Musiwave, which was ultimately acquired by Microsoft in 2008.

Dustin Young is the chief operating officer of CARDFREE, a new company based in San Francisco that offers merchants a one-stop solution to mobilize and enhance the customer experience for maximum ROI.
Before joining CARDFREE, Young spent seven years leading product innovation at InComm, the leading provider of prepaid and stored-value products. He focused on delivering new transaction models with specific emphasis on mobile commerce and alternative methods to enable payments.
Earlier in his career, Dustin co-founded and sold a software company that enabled the sale and activation of cable and Internet services via merchants’ POS infrastructure.
After earning his MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Young managed products in the U.S. and Latin America for Kellogg Company. Young received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Economics from Trinity University.

Sharon Knitter joined the Cars.com team in 2006 and is now the site’s Senior Director of Mobile. In this role, Knitter develops the strategic direction for Cars.com’s regarding its mobile site and mobile apps to better serve car shoppers on the go. She also assists with the development of advertising products for manufacturers and dealers to help them reach this growing segment. Knitter will continue to monitor the growing mobile space to help Cars.com identify opportunities for growth on multi-media platforms and lead the third-party mobile automotive space.
Before her role as Senior Director of Mobile Strategy, Knitter served as the Senior Director of Consumer Products at Cars.com. In this position, she implemented the strategic management and development of the site’s consumer automotive buying and selling channels on the web. She also led the site’s mobile initiative and successfully made Cars.com the first third-party automotive site with an optimized mobile presence. Prior to Cars.com, Knitter worked at the Tribune Co., where she began in 1987 as a research manager and later worked as both the manager of advertising development and director of recruitment strategy.
Knitter is the co-chair of the IAB mobile committee and previously served as the president of the Newspaper Association of America’s Research Federation. Additionally, she was elected the Oak Brook Park District Commissioner.

MB Christie is Online Product Management Director for FT.com, the definitive home for business intelligence on the web. She assumed this position in January 2007.
Christie manages the online product team that handles all of the Financial Times’ digital media; including the core FT.com website, interactive markets data features, blogs, and search. In this capacity she has been instrumental in transforming the Financial Times from a traditional newspaper publisher into a web-centric business.
Previous to her work at the FT, Christie was Head of Product Development at Rightmove.co.uk the UK’s largest property website. Prior to that, she was Product Development Director for QXL Ricardo PLC, a leading online auction website in Europe. In 1991, Christie founded Resources, the first phone directory published in post-communist Czechoslovakia. She remained President of the company through 1999.
She obtained her BSc from the London School of Economics, where she studied in Economics, Economic History and Political Thought. Christie has also studied English Literature at the Connecticut College.

Manas Mohapatra is the Director of Mobile Policy for the FTC’s Mobile Technology Unit, where he focuses on consumer protection issues related to mobile technology. Previously, Manas served in the FTC’s Division of Privacy and Identity Protection, where he focused on privacy and security issues raised by new technologies, such as social networking, facial recognition, and peer-to-peer file sharing software. Manas brought enforcement actions in multiple cases involving allegations of unfair or deceptive privacy and security practices, including the FTC’s settlements with Facebook and MySpace. He also served on detail as an attorney-advisor to FTC Commissioner Edith Ramirez, advising on consumer protection issues. Prior to joining the FTC, he was a litigation associate at Goodwin Procter, and a judicial law clerk for the Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court in Puerto Rico. Before law school, Manas worked as a senior web developer for Nickelodeon Online and as a database programmer for a distance education software company. He received his BA from Johns Hopkins University and his JD from Northwestern.
Paulo has a law degree from the Mackenzie University, and specialised in copyright and tech Law, he also has a web-marketing and MBA from Universidade de São Paulo, and is a teacher for intellectual property and risk management at Senac University.
With more than 12 years experience within the intellectual property and new technologies arenas he now works as the Regional Coordinator for internet anti piracy within the Latin America music industry (IFPI Latin America).
Previously Paulo worked on the coordination of leading cases for the music industry and along with strategic partners to develop a healthy internet environment.

Over the past ten years, Gary has played a leadership role in the mobile industry, founding Impact Mobile in 2002 and running the first cross-carrier short code campaign in North America.
In 2006, Gary founded the mobile committee for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) (www.iab.net) and has worked to publish literature such as the Mobile Buyer's Guide helping extend the digital buy into mobile (for which he received an IAB award for industry excellence in 2009). In this role, Gary helped establish a joint task force between the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) and the IAB with the aid of the Media Rating Council (MRC) to develop global, auditable mobile measurement standards.
In 2010, Gary was elected as the Chair of MEF North America. Gary is the recipient of the Asia and Japan Foundation Fellowship as well as the Macromedia People Choice Award and Dodge Foundation award for innovation. Andrew Bud is the Founder, Chief Strategy Officer and Board member of mBlox. He co-founded the business in 2000, was CEO until 2003 and Executive Chairman until 2010. Andrew is the Global Chair of MEF. He has served as Chair since 2008, having been an elected member of the Board since 2001.
He also serves as a non-executive director of several companies and initiatives. From 2005-2008 he was a Board director of PhonepayPlus, the agency of UK regulator Ofcom.
During the 1990’s, Andrew was Head of Mobile at Olivetti in Italy and was one of the founders of Omnitel ProntoItalia (now Vodafone Italia).

Kolja Reiss, an industry veteran with 14 years of telecommunications experience, is currently the Managing Director for mopay Inc. and is responsible for overseeing business development and operations for mopay in the North American market.
Prior to heading up the Palo Alto mopay office, Kolja led the offices of MindMatics USA in New York and Los Angeles as Director of Client Operations, where he helped establish the organization as a market leader in the interactive television industry. Before working with MindMatics, Kolja founded a successful telecommunications retail company which he sold within five years.
Kolja holds a Master's Degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Paderborn in Germany. He is married and speaks English and German fluently.

Arturo Galván has spent his entire career establishing and cultivating the online industry in Latin America. For these efforts, the Wall Street Journal named him “Apostle of the Internet” for the region in 2000 and Bill Gates twice awarded him the Microsoft Award of Excellence (95-96).
Arturo was the CTO & VP of Business Development for leading newspaper group Grupo Reforma for 16 years. In 1988, he co-founded Infosel, the first online service company in the Spanish-speaking world, and launched the popular Infosel Financiero financial information service in 1990. In 1995, the company launched Mexico’s first Internet portal and became the first Internet access provider in Mexico. Alex Serge Vieux is chairman and publisher of Red Herring and CEO of Herring International. His contributions to the IT industry span more than 20 years and include co-founding two banking software companies, CATS and Renaissance Software, as well as DASAR, a European incubator and conference company.

With over eight years in mobile and thirteen years of tenure, David serves as the Global Mobile Practice Lead for SapientNitro where the mobile team has recently received the highest client scores across all criteria among all of the agencies for the 2012 Forrester Wave US Digital Agencies — Mobile Marketing Strategy and Execution Report.
David has spearheaded the design of mobile applications and prototypes for emerging devices and services.
